Lonely Goat Farm is a bed and breakfast/short term stay property nestled on 28 acres, and located two miles from historic Henkel Square in Round Top, Texas. Lonely Goat Farm has three rental houses: The Farmhouse, The Sunday House and The Veranda Cabin. Each house is beautifully appointed in a modern, eclectic farmhouse style. Between the Farm House and Sunday House, under the Red Oak, Live Oak and Post Oak trees is a private swimming pool with lounge chairs and a shady deck that looks out on the property that contains a large perennial garden and 6’ tall fountain.
All Properties include Wifi, Washer & Dryer, and Cable Entertainment Packages.
The Veranda Cabin
Situated on an adjacent private three acres with its own entrance. It is a +/-1200 square foot, 3 bedroom house with a 14’ covered veranda on all sides. The 3 bedrooms sleeps six and there are two full baths. Outdoor Amenities at The Veranda Cabin include barbecue grill, firepit and Adirondack chairs, shaded by a large pecan tree. The Cabin looks out over a pasture that contains horses and donkeys. The Cabin has covered parking for two vehicles with space for 3 additional vehicles.
The optional adjacent Art cottage sleeps two teenagers in a fun loft that is reached by ladder. There are no bathroom facilities in art cottage.
The Sunday House
The Sunday House is approximately 800 square feet with a sleeper sofa downstairs, and 2 twin beds upstairs. It also has a cute kitchen, full bath and laundry room!
The 1895 Farm House
A rustic Central Texas inspired farmhouse initially built in 1895, the updated building is 3,600 square feet, 5 bedrooms, (2 upstairs in a loft/attic), 3 downstairs, 1 sleeping loft, 4 full baths with shower or tub or combo; expansive living, dining rooms, a modern kitchen/den/breakfast, and library.
